Error: The Security Token did Not Match.

Upon running Akeeba Kickstart to open helixultimate_quickstart_j4_v2.0.12.zip, I receive the error listed in the subject. This happens after the Joomla Setup information is entered and Joomla gets to the end of the installation. I have not had this issue with other quickstart templates so not sure what the issue is regarding this install. Online suggestions to solving this issue all point to the Configuration.php line: public $live_site = ''; of which is accordingly correct during my installation.

Currently installed on Win11 running WampServer64 v3.3.0 (PHP 8.0.26).

Please advise, thank you!

Just curious why use Kickstart at all since it's not a backup created by Akeeba - it's the quickstart package provided by Joomshaper. (I know kickstart is basically a tool to unzip files but it's not needed here).

You need to install this package like any other clean-install Joomla install. You can use the Windows utiliy to extract the files to WAMPServer's public_html folder (or a sub folder within it). (right clickthe Zip, click Extract to... and select the destination folder for the files to be extractred to (n WAMPServer this could be public_html or perhaps more likely, public_html/site-name-folder

The documentation (for any Helix based template quickstart package) does not instruct you to use Akeeba Kickstart.

I don't know what the security token invalid error is about, but can you first try installing the quickstart the correct way?

Hi,

I followed the directions as posted; Helix Ultimate Quckstart (sic) Installation, and received installation process failed error. If I then go to the actual installed domain, it comes up with the standard Joomla Installation Successful, with the option to view the website or log into the administrator account. The site seems to be working correctly, so no idea why it posted an error. I will keep working with the site and see if it posts any other errors.

Regards.

Hi,

Other than the issue noted in my post HERE, it seems to be functioning without other issues. Still waiting for someone to address the rendering issue with the tools interface.
