After Updating Educon And Migrating To Joomla 4, Smart Search Returns Error Message

Hello Joomshaper, after updating Educon and migrating from Joomla 3 to 4, smart search returns the following error message during indexing:

Failed opening required '/is/htdocs/wpxxxx_FWXNA0Q7LT/www/mywebsite.de/administrator/components/com_finder/helpers/articles.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php8.1')

According to this message, the file "articles.php" is missing.
Do you have any advice? Thank you for your effort, Jens

Hi there!

Sorry for your issue.

Are you using PHP 8.1 there, please?

If yes, kindly downgrade your PHP version to 7.4 until the educon template gets PHP 8.x compatibility update. Hopefully it will be arive soon.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, only one or two current PHP versions are offered here with the shared host providers. So very often there is no possibility to choose an outdated PHP version. It would be good if it would not take too long. Best, Jens
