How To Change The Font Size And Type For The Menu

Hi, I am using Helix Ultimate 2.0.13 and want to change the mega menu font size and type. I have customized the Menu using the "Presets", but the options available here does not include font size and type. I want the mega menu to use the Typography defined for heading 1. How do I do that?

Best regards, Sissel

Hi Sissel,

please check Typography tab in Template Options.

You have to enable for example "Navigation" tab, then choose font type and font-size.

OR

Use Custom CSS method:

.sp-megamenu-parent > li > a,
.sp-megamenu-parent > li > span {font-size: 18px;}

Remember to clear JCH_Optimize cache after adding this kind of changes(!)

Hi, I found an option to activate "Navigation" under "Typography". I could not see an option to enable "Menu tab". When I changed the settings of "Navigation" to the same settings as "heading 1", the Mega menu font is the correct type, but not the correct size (I changed the size to 32, but the font is still small, see https://leantech.no/)

Navigation tab.

Remember to disable JCH_Optimize before this kind of changes(!)

or as I said, use my Custom CSS in Template Options > Custom Code > Custom CSS

Hi, I see that the activation of JCH_Optimize is causing the issue. The specifications in "Typography" does not apply when JCH_Optimize is activated.

I wanted to use JCH_optimize to improve the performance of the site, specially the performance of the mobile version. "Eliminate render-blocking resources" is an opportunity for improvements. Any suggestions on how to improve the site? Maybe suggestions on how to improve the settings of the Helium Ultimate template itself, or maybe you have suggestions on how to customize JCH_Optimize to work for this template?

I will repeat myself, use custom CSS where I said. Then in theory should be used after/with compression.

About JCH_Optimize - we are not support of that tool, so it's not question for us.
