Template 2 years ago

Good morning, On this site beta site, I have the following Categories being displayed on the home page. https://pamspress.net/50p/

Entertainment Lifestyle Health & Wellness Perspective Financial

I would like all these categories to have the exact same layout format at “lifestyles” I look at the modules and they are all “Articles”, however, when I go to the “articles= select layout” Each article has different layouts in the drop down although they have the same “name”? Help<G> Big thanks, Bob

Hello Bob

Please share a screenshot of your issue to understand it better. Take a screenshot and share via any platform. For example: Lightshot or Imgur

Best regards

Hi Ofi,

I will combine both issues here.

First, on the home page the screen shot shows a layout for "lifestyles". I want this layout on the home page for:

Enternaintment

Lifestyles

Health & Wellness

Perspective

To be the same layout as Lifestyles. Screen shot of what I want them to be https://pamspress.net/HomePageLayout.png

Also from my other post:

I would like all the category landing pages to show the slide show on the top and all the articles listed below horizontally (left to right) I mocked up what I am looking for. Screen shot: https://pamspress.net/CategoryLandingPage.png

Hope this makes sense. Big thanks, Bob

Please use this CSS to Template Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS

.layout-classic .sppb-addon-article.intro-item{
    margin-bottom: 52px;
}

For the other issue, you need to design the layout. Sorry, we do not provide customization support. You have to try it yourself.

Hi, On the main article landing pages the header slide is fine. Below that the articles are listed way to large.

I would like then to be this size https://pamspress.net/CategoryLandingPage.png

Simply need to shrink the list?

Need help here Thanks, Bob

HI Again,

I am trying to work with a template I got from you guys.

It needs a little help as I laid out

The article landing pages are not uniform and they should be.

The article presentations on the home pages are different even though I am using the same module "articles" their styles produce different looks.

That is not a design issue that is a template/module issue.

Hi again,

Perhaps this is the issue, outdated stuff?

Yes, it could be. You have to wait for the template update while we will make it compatible with SP Page Builder 5. Or you can remove the overrides from the template. Just rename templates/newskit/sppagebuilder/addons/article folder. Then the addon will be loaded from SP Page Builder.

Good morning Ofi,

When I rename some of the above the site fails? Not sure which of the listed folders need to be changed.

I have hours into this template and getting nowhere. Seems this template is not ready to be offered?

Need some help here, this project is failing.

Thanks, Bob

Hi Ofi,

I reloaded the the template and did not update anything.

Here is it's new address https://pamspress.net/donna/

I am trying to follow your instructions to get back to the old page builder.

"Just rename templates/newskit/sppagebuilder/addons/article folder"

When I rename "templates" I get a white screen. Rename the others and I get fatal errors.

I am determined to get this great looking template working properly.

What can be done to achieve what you said, back to page builder?

Really appriciate your help.. Bob

I am explaining this again. Please go here:

templates/newskit

There you will find sppagebuilder folder. Rename it to test_sppagebuilder or anything. Then the addons will load from SP Page Builder. After renaming, it will be like this

templates/newskit/test_sppagebuilder

Hi Ofi,

Thanks for the update.

I followed exactly what you say, here is a screen shot of the folder rename https://pamspress.net/HomePageErrors.jpg

Now go to the site and the home page is trashed with lots of error and missing stuff.

Sign in and go to pagebuilder and it's still looks like the new format?

I appriciate all you help and hopefully we can get this right.

Please rename it back to sppagebuilder and use SP Page Builder 3. Hopefully, it will be fine. Wait for the next template update where we will include SP Page Builder 5 compatibility with the template.

Hi Ofi,

I am working on one of youre commerce templates with the js store and having issues. https://b3salonproducts.net/

While working on this store I found out that most of their payment gateways and shipping modules are outdated and not compatable with fedex and First Data.

js store support advise that they are releasing their store for joomla 4 and updated the modules to be compatable with v4.

Do you have any plans for this huge upgrade?

I have been working with this project for a very long time and now it seems everything has to upgrade.

Will this mess up the template currently in place and will my work be gone?

Appricate your help. Bob

Yes, we will update the template as soon as J2Store releases the stable Joomla 4 version.
