Cannot Read Properties Of Undefined (reading 'message') - When Saving Pages Or Articles

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Good day,

Yesterday I wrote a reply at Martin's topic.

Today I discovered that I cannot save any changes made to pages of articles that have been made with Pagebuilder anymore.

Like I named my topic, I receive the error message 'Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'message')'.

Latest Page Builder (5.05) Joomla 3.10.12 (update available, but the updater states Joomla 4.3.3 is probably not compatible with PB?)

Hello Pop Musicalkoor Purmerend

Thanks for notifying us. I have found this bug happening on Joomla 3 articles only. I have forwarded this with the developer team. It will be fixed in the next update.

Best regards

The articles are now being saved. Thanks. I don't know what you changed, perhaps too technical?

If I may add two things:

  1. I open my backend and go to Articles - Open an article - select SP Page Builder - Edit with Backend Editor. Editor opens in new window. I change something. I choose 'Save and Exit' and get the browser message "Are you sure you want to exit without saving?" . I say Yes. Yet changes are being saved although the message warns me it won't...

  2. For this site I made use of the Tabs add-on at the bottom of many articles. Tabs to display video's with the music the choir wants to practise. Since the new Page Builder is installed the footer doesn't recognise that there's an add-on with video (iframe YouTube) on the bottom of the article and moves up, beneath the video: Screenshot

I just updated to version 5.0.7 and the height issue in relation to the tabs add-on with video is solved. Thanks.

The first point I mentioned is still present. When I make a change and press 'Save and exit' I receive a browser message that warns me I'm about to exit a page without changes being saved (which isn't the case, because they are saved).

I have checked again your site and no issue found that you have mentioned your last reply.
