I know posting a lot of video but I cannot stress loun d enbough that we need to have a more robust text editor in SPBBV5. I have 80+pdf that need ot be text link thoughout th ewebiste and I cannot add them duroing beta and my cleint needs to see this function before signin goff. I expalioned that it is the limitation of the extension I am using andI have been asking for this fix for along time.

Hi Scott,

All you need is JCE Pro, and it will be the best invested money in last days.

Or you need sort of Download component, for example:

  • DOCman
  • Dropfiles
  • EDocman
  • Phoca Download

You have ready-made solutions, a matter of choice is YOURS. Use one of them wisely.

Paul, the solution was not what I was expecting and still wondering why Joomshaper decided not to fully embed Tiny MCE into SPPB?

I did install JCE core and was able to select text and link to an interal pdf file GREAT the onbly problem is the width of the SPPB modle editor its too narrow I have mentioned in a couple of my vids. Can this be implimented in the next itteration?

I already use easy folder listing :)

Flexible sidebar is planned, by now click "<>" icon from JCE toolbar, as I have written in documenation (tip 5.) >> https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/how-to-tips

JCE Pro is much better than JCE Core. And cost just like two pizza's.

TinyMCE editor is limited but it's a core editor, we cannot change it code. And developing a new toolbar when JCE is already on the market for many years doesn't make sense. We tried in SPPB 4.x and it was failure.
