Adding Existing Joomla Images To Media Manager

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Hi. We have so many images and video files already in our existing Joomla, that we don't like to copy all files again as duplicates to your SP Page Builder's Media Manager. Is there any way to add the existing files or their local location to the SP Page Builder's Media Manager?

Your SP Page Builder's Media Manager is already using Joomla's main /images/ folder , but it does not show the existing files or subfolders. Only the folders it moved there and created ("/images/year/month/day/") are shown. This makes it very difficult to use.

Can this (folders and files) be changed from some of SP Page Builder's Media Manager's parameters, etc. so we can use all existing images and photos?

@Kare, but in SPPB Media you should see all folders & files in /images - here is example from my website (Joomla 4.3 + SPPB 5.0.x)

Just click "Folders" and browse.

OK. Then something is wrong.. I get only a message "undefined"., and can't see any folder.. Any idea why?

Everything else seems to work. In the SP addons I can see all the photos that I have downloaded thru SP Page Builder, but nothing that has been there before that (aka. existing old photos and folders).

  1. But do you see them in Joomla Media (Content > Media) ?
  2. Share some technical details about your website: J version, PHP version, SPPB version etc.

Hi,

Joomla Media (Content > Media) is working still as normal, so this problem seems to affect only SP Page Builder's Media Manager. Can it be some parameter that is missing or something similar..?

Check the hidden content for more information. Thanks.

Can you give me any suggestions as to what could be causing this problem? .htaccess? PHP configuration? Incompatible component? This problem only concerns your SP Page Builder component and its Media Manager part.
