How To The "created By User Id" In SPPB5.0.6

I am using SPPB 5.0.6 and also the new template Investa. Every time i load a page i get the message "Unable to find user with the ID 527". I assume the pages were initially create by a user with the ID No. of 587. Now when i install the QuickStart Template the user with the backend ID of 587 will not exists. See screecap below:

I could change this for articles but could not find any help in SPPB 5.0.6 pages. How do i change the created by user ID for the SPPB page?

Hi, to be honest, it's a known message since Joomla 1.5+.

How do i change the created by user ID?

  1. In User Manager create a new user
  2. Using PHPMyAdmin and Joomla database in Prefix_Users - find him and change his ID number
  3. Save changes

Alternative solutions:

  1. Edit all demo articles and change Author of them from unknown user to you (existing user).
  2. Delete all demo articles, and create a new ones.

Did the second alternative already. That is a bit of extra work. Thought there was a better way of doing this. Will i have the same problem if i were to export the page and import into another site?

You could also use DB Replacer, but ... maybe next time.

There should be no problems, but keep in mind that the images, videos, and pdf files used in those pages must be transferred manually via FTP keeping this same folder structure.
