The template displays this error on the home page. I am not sure where I have to change the user. I have gone though the entire home page.

My best guess is that when the template was done the user had that ID 527, the newly installaed Joomla complains that the user who created the template content does not exist. You can create a new admnistrator user, then in phpmyadmin you can change the ID of this new user to reflect the previous user 527, you need to do that in the table users and users map

Hi,
indeed, the method to solve it is known and has not changed since Joomla 1.5, even chat.openAI know it.
Two basic options:
- As David said (thx) new user (Editor/Manager) and change his ID to 527
- OR, update Author of all demo Articles (Publishing tab > Created By) one by one

Thank you guys but I can see no way to change the user ID - I have never worked in PhP myadmin. How do I change user ID?

OK Got it - Found how to do it online and fixed it in PHP My Admin - good now

In general, after you would delete all demo articles (which you probably don't need) you can disable/remove that "fake" user.
