Browser Cache Clearance Required Between Pages

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Hi,

I have a couple of Page Builder 5 sites, neither of them public yet.

On one of them I need to clear the browser cache using Shift/F5 between every page load, both inside the PB editor and on the live site. On Firefox it requires two refreshes before any page loads.

I have tried turning the site caching on and off and changing how it is done, but to no effect.

Please advise, David

(edited to add Shift/F5)

I'm having the same problem as. I posted about it here: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/26756. It was said that it is an issue on my end, but I don't think it is. It is making it really difficult to work on the site.

I have created a temporary admin account, details in the hidden box. I have a full backup, so please feel free to investigate as you wish.

I'm having trouble adding a new user to the web host.

However, there is another web site on the same shared host that used SP5 and is working correctly. That suggests to me that the problem is not in the host.

Please add this code inside the .htaccess file. It occurred for the server caching problem.

# DISABLE CACHING
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Cache-Control "no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate"
Header set Pragma "no-cache"
Header set Expires 0
</IfModule>
