Hello all!

Everything worked just fine yesterday, but after the update to the SP Page Builder Module today, I'm seeing really long (and I mean really long) load times getting into pages and related features.

???

Please let me know if I'm crazy..

I played with that version for over 2 hours and I couldn't see any difference, pages also with images loading "fast". So far you are the only first person with that "issue".

You can always check from 2nd browser or reinstall with older version, clear Joomla cache and compare. Anything could happen. Do you have speed problem with articles as well?

Notice! Loading of images does not depend only on the component, as they are separate files.

You can use: https://tools.pingdom.com/ or similar tester.

Hi Michael,

Website speed is affected by many factors: hosting, Internet connection, browser cache...

I don't think that small changes in component code could make such a change. Especially since we have not added any new javascript libraries, just corrected serveral lines. On my site, I have not felt any speed change, either up or down.

I am not a doctor to make judgments ;p

I would normally agree with you, but I can assure you that's not the case here. Something has happened with the minor update to 5.1.4 from 5.1.3 may have been minor, but it's surely causing the issue...

Images and pages that loaded in a snap yesterday are taking literally minutes to load now.
