Paid Or Free Templates

Hello

I wanted to ask about the templates. I have seen these two:

  • Helix Ultimate - Free Universal Joomla Template for any Website.
  • Investa - Consultancy, Law Firm, and Corporate Business Joomla Template.

The first is free and the second is paid. I am a PRO client, so I have access to both. I wanted to ask about the differences. I see that they are both based on the same system. For Joomla 5 or future updates, is it possible that the free one stops updating? It seemed to me that they are very similar. Can you help me or tell me the main differences that may affect my website?

thank you

Hi,

  • Helix Ultimate is raw template, it contain always the most current code inside, but with basic design.
  • Investa - is template based on Helix Ultimate, with extra designs styles. It's QS contain SPPB and demo pages etc. In general it's package for people you need " Consultancy, Law Firm, and Corporate Business" website fast, without thinking how it should look like.

Helix Ultimate is with us since 2020. As far as I know will always be available, because it is part of the promotion of our company. This same as it was with Helix3. In the world, the only known variable is change.

Yes, we do not need a page made, since we have ours with our design.

A question that I think I can ask in this post. The Social Share List option in the blog section of the template, there are only three networks. Facebook, Twitter link.

Can I customize these networks with WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.? I would like them to appear in the template component to select or not. Thank you

Only by code customization ... OR disable social share from Template Options > Blog > Details and install extra Social Share Plugin from JED and use it.

HERE: plugins\system\helixultimate\overrides\layouts\joomla\content\social_share.php

The only way is to change file permission from 644 to 400, and of course keep backup file just in case.
