Doctor Template To Version 3.0 Generates A 404 Error Class "CSSHelper" Not Found

To be able to switch to PHP 8.0 I updated the Doctor template to version 3.0, but this generates a 404 error of the type Class "CSSHelper" not found. How can I solve it? I cannot provide site credentials, because these changes are tested on site remotely.

I'd like to point out that the error occurred before switching to PHP 8, so it's a problem with the template, not with the PHP version.

Please go to these files and delete them:

  1. templates/shaper_doctor/sppagebuilder/addons/blocknumber/site.php
  2. templates/shaper_doctor/sppagebuilder/addons/feature/site.php
  3. templates/shaper_doctor/sppagebuilder/addons/gmap/site.php
  4. templates/shaper_doctor/sppagebuilder/addons/image_content/site.php

It will work then.

Thanks, it works now! Can you tell me how you found the error? So if it happens again on another site I know how to fix it without bothering you.

I have turned on debug and set Error Reporting to Maximum in System settings. There I have found the file location. Then I have found a function called in that file which is not used any more now. This is why the error appears. Then I have found the same function on 3 other files. So, if you delete these files and load the addon from the component, then there will be no issues in the future.

If you find any such type of error, then turn on debug and error reporting to check the issue location on Joomla.

Hello gemmajoom

Please share a screenshot of your issue to understand it better. Take a screenshot and share via any platform. For example: Lightshot or Imgur. Does this error occur only in one specific page or all pages?

Best regards

I think you are on localhost. Please take a full site backup with Akeeba Backup in ZIP format and share here. Follow this tutorial. I will check the backup and share the fix with you.

Hi Ofi Khan, I still have this problem and now it has become urgent to switch to php 8 and joomla 4. If I use the protostar template the problem does not occur, so I deduce it is the "Doctor" template. In the meantime have you found the solution?

I have checked with PHP 8.3, Joomla 4.4.9, Doctor 3.0.0 and Helix3 plugin 3.0.5. I have not found any issue. Which page are you facing it? Please share a screenshot of your issue to understand it better. Take a screenshot and share via any platform. For example: Lightshot or Imgur

I installed the zip, but the error persists. Error that occurs both on Joomla 3 and php 7.4 and on J4 with php 8.1. If I change template everything works correctly.
