Add-On Authorisations At Group Level

Hi,

In SP Page Builder I can disable some add-on using the "Addons Management" page, but is there any way I could do that at group level ? I would like to disable some add-on for some groups only.

That would also mean if a user from a group wants to edit an existing article, and they click on an add-on they don't have access to, they shouldn't be able to modify it, but would only get a message like "You are not authorised to modify that content".

Thanks

Hi there!

Thanks for contacting us.

You can work with viewing access levels only for addons of the SP Page Builder pages. If editing permission is granted for that usergroup globally: https://prnt.sc/mcpbwo0XFMx1, the users can edit that addon while editing the page, though they can not see the addon on the frontend while visiting the site, with this type of access settings: https://prnt.sc/9bgYtr638fe7

Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks for your answer but this is not exactly what I meant. I don't want to disable access to the add-on for a specific page, what I would like is to completely disable an add-on for some user groups, whatever the page they are editing.

I can currently do that through SP Page Builder "Addons Management", but this is a global setting, I cannot find a way to disable some add-ons for a specific group of users and leave it available for another group.

The objective is to only leave users with a list of add-ons they will actually use (in the frontend editor) instead of having a bunch of add-ons available in the editor, which makes it very confusing for some people.

Thanks Stéphane

Hello Stéphane,

Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately this feature is not available.

Have a nice day!
