Why On Earth does SPPB Open A New Browser Tab Each Time I Edit With Back End Editor?

I already submitted two tickets in the past few months about this. This is a very annoying behaviour and very confusing. Further it is a source of publication problems, because not all important data is contained in SPPB... You never know if the last version is published or not> Please fix this asap.

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for your issue. We have already reported it in our bug list, I will also inform our DEV team about it as a higher priority, so that they will fix it ASAP.
By the way if possible give me a screencast of your issue so that I will forward it to our DEV team.
Could you please mention is this issue coming from module or article?

Thanks for your reply. I do not know how to send you a screencast, but what happens is rather simple. Everytime I click on "edit with back end editor", it opens a new window on Safari. This means that, if there are non saved items on the first window (with Joomal data), this data gets lost if not saved. On the other hand, I am not sure SPPB data which is added in the new window is saved or overritten by saving the "old"window. The issue is related to articles.
