ISSUE - EasyStore Stock Management (1.0.5)

EasyStore 1 year ago

Some bugs have crept into version 1.0.5. Although the product is marked as out of stock, it is displayed as available in stock on the store page.

Uploading product images was also not possible. So I uninstalled EasyStore, removed all database entries and then reinstalled it. The problem persisted. Uninstalled again, manually deleted database entries again and then installed version 1.0.3. Images could be uploaded. Updated to 1.0.5, this time the images could be uploaded.

The Quickinstall package from Kreativa was installed. Maybe there are some problems with the template. The faulty image upload has already been mentioned in the forum.

Hello Martin

Please turn it off and then it will be out of stock.

Hi Ofi,

thanks for the info. However, the setting is more than confusing. The setting asks whether an item is sold out or not. By default, "no" is selected. But the opposite is the case, because it means "yes".

If the setting is activated as shown in the picture, it should mean that the item is no longer in stock.

Sorry Ofi, but with version 1.0.5 you have more than worsened the store. You get one complaint after the other. Is that in your interest?

best regards

Although the filter on the store page does not show it as being in stock, it is available on the product page and can also be ordered.

Maybe this helps with the "out of stock" / inventory management.

Hi Swemmel,

Thank you for the tip. However, I don't have any orders in there yet, so the solution isn't possible.

Maybe you have variants of the product that are still in stock.

Hello Peter,

There are no variants for this product. Incidentally, I have deactivated it for the time being so that it is not visible, to prevent anyone else from ordering it even though it is not in stock.

best regards Martin

This is not a solution, I have a store where I cannot even click the TRACKING INVENTORY button when I have variants.

Yes you can. You have to edit the variants and click track inventory there.

BUG: if you create products and do not click the track inventory first, it won't show when you edit the variants at all to enter a quanitity. I had to remove all the items and add them again and first check off tracking inventory as a whole. Another bug where you cannot change the price with variants as a whole first.

Give it a try

Just switch off "manage variants", then click track inventory and finally switch on "manage variants". You did not have to delete the variants. 😉

Kind regards, Peter
