Due to the fact that Joomla! 5 does not have any of the core-plugins:

  • CAPTCHA - reCAPTCHA
  • CAPTCHA - Invisible reCAPTCHA

the SP Page Builder Pro Contact Form Addon does not work with captcha.

Is there a workaround?

...or plans to update SP Page Builder Pro to support captcha on Joomla! 5?

Hello Michael

I have checked with our Joomla 4 template quickstart and updated it to Joomla 5. Here, captcha works fine. You will have to find the plugins and use it on Joomla 5. It will work.

it work when you update from Joomla4 to Joomla5, but it don't work with a fresh Joomla5 installation. See: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/29500
