1. Not all templates had that field. It was added in later published templates.
2. You should be able just disable social icons from Template Options > Basic > Social Icons: OFF
3. And on footer2 check if there is a module.

Besides Themes by default may not fully support top-bar row, and it's needed exta CSS to make it clickable.

1. I'm using Themis template. I don't care about other templates.
2. I know how to eneble and disable them. The problem is that I added them on the footer 2 position and the template provide them on the top!! You can see in my greek website, LINK: https://www.rules-chess-strategies.com/el/ (As you can see in the one of the attached images) that there is a thin white line in the top. I don't know how to disable it. I don't know why it is there. Similalry, I don't like to add a custom ccs code for it. Why I have this problem? In the english page I can see the social icons on the footer 2 position and indeed looks very nice! Thank you for adding this feauture on the template.
3. Of course there is no module on footer2. Either there is no module for the top line. If I go to Template Options > Basic > Social Icons: OFF then the social icons disapear from top line and from footer 2. At the same time I can see a small thin line like in the greek version of the website.

So I can only guess there is bug in topbar code.

To hide social icons from top1 using:

#sp-top1 .social-icons {display: none; }

OR remove top-bar row totally from Template Options>Layouts or change predefined header style.
