SP PB Editor Shows Empty Page, But Page Structure In Layers, And Preview are Ok

Hello, after a while, I need to change the content of a page build with Page Builder 4.

If I open a page in SP PB, it presents me with a blank page, only the header and footer are shown (which are defined in the Helix template). In the Layers popup, I can see the page structure, and if I click on preview, the page is show. It is in the editor where the whole page is blank.

PLEASE HELP URGENTLY.

Testest with Firefox and Chrome SP PB 4.0.11 Joomla 4.3.4

Regards Peter

|Hi Peter,

as I said in different topic:

  1. Update SP Page Builder from v4.0x to v5.2.5
  2. Update Joomla from 4.3.4 to 4.4.2

Looks like you haven't looked at this site admin for a few months hence the delayed updates. It's important step to fix all major problems! Remember to clear Joomla cache after.

SPPB 5.x has back-end and front-end editor as had SPPB 3.x, so you have more possibilites.

Migrating from SP PB from V4 to V5 needs thorough testing, thus some time. But I need to by a new license first, since the V4 license is not valid for V5, right?

Read here (yellow box): https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/technical-requirements

If you bought SP Page Builder and membership is still active - your license key is valid for all versions. Just download component and install.

Ohh, I thought to remember to have asked about the version update and whether a new license was needed. The answer in my memory was yes, V5 needs a new license.

I must have been mixing up things; can't find what my mind refers me to.

So, glad to hear I can update with the current license. Sorry for the confusion and many thanks for the quick responses.
