Nuron Template - Favicon Issues For Safari

I have a site in production that I have set a custom favion and I thought it was working OK. At least it works in Google Chrome, but when the customer loads this in Safari the website shows the Joomla favicon.

I have verified this and wondered if you knew how to fix this?

Hi Neil,

You set correctly I see it in Firefox/Edge, but I would also create favicon.ico file then upload it here:

  1. Root folder
  2. and inside /images/ folder

Thanks Paul.

I had already done that and it doesn't fix the Safari problem - very odd

  1. Maybe ask/research on forum.joomla.org - for sure there should be universal advice for that.
  2. Check also in Privacy Mode in Safari (just in case)

Sorry, I have Windows only and I see your custom icon on all browsers.
