I'm wondering if I need to enable "production mode" with SP Page Builder and Helix Ultimate or not when combining and minifying the CSS files with JSpeed?

In the description of SP Page Builder it says "will render CSS code in the head tag". Can JSpeed access this and do this or does SP Page Builder have to do this itself?

Similarly with the Helix Ultimate Framework. It says "Enabling this option will compile all SCSS files every time your site loads if the SCSS file has been changed or edited. Disable this option if your site is in production mode.

I have the two options Compress CSS and Javascript set to Off, as I am sure JSpeed will take over. However, with the two Production Mode settings, I don't know if JSpeed can take over and access the files at all, or if this has to be done by SP Page Builder and Helix Ultimate itself.
