ESports Search Form Destroyed After Update

I updated a website from Joomla 3.x to version 4 and then 5. To make the search work under Joomla 5, I updated the com_search component to version 4.1.0. Now the search works again but unfortunately the search form for entering the search term no longer works. I just get an empty, yellow popup.
