Tixon VirtueMart Version Compatibility

Hello,
I use the Tixon template on my website. Since upgrading to VirtueMart 4 the 'add to cart' function no longer works. I saw that Tixon supports VirtueMart 3, but no mention of 4. Is Tixon compatable with VirtueMart 4 or should I downgrade?

Thanks for contacting us. Yes, Tixon template supports VirtueMart 3. It is not updated to VirtueMart 4 yet. That's why it gives error.

Tixon does not officially support VirtueMart 4 at this time. The template was built for VirtueMart 3, and the existing overrides are for VM3 only.
Regarding other JoomShaper templates, currently JoomShaper has moved away from providing VirtueMart/J2Store-specific support. New templates are not developed with VirtueMart integration in mind, so there are no current JoomShaper templates officially supporting VirtueMart 4.
You may still install VirtueMart 4 with a Helix Ultimate-based template, but you would need to handle the styling and template overrides yourself, as compatibility and design integration are not guaranteed.
If you need a Joomla 4/5 + VirtueMart 4 ready shop, it may be better to use a template provider that actively maintains VirtueMart 4 support.
