Padding Bug In Sections Since SPPB 5.3.0

Hi.

I assume that the correction of this starting with SPPB 5.3.0 led to even greater problems. https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/31886

Now all paddings are zero inside the frontend editor (except for the desktop breakpoint) if the page was made in early version than SPPB 5.3.0, and then SPPB was updated.

Frontend editor

Live view

If you make the slightest change on such a page and save, in live viewing paddings will also drop to zero. This is a nightmare guys.

The essence of the current problem is that the values of paddings are not inherited at the breakpoints. But before SPPB 5.2.8 they were inherited. This will break many sites. It requires speedy fix!

Hi

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for your issue. It seems working in my end, I am using the latest version of page builder. I have set diffrent value on padding and its working on frontend and also live site in my end. By the way I also checked it on SPPB version 5.3.0 and it seems fine there too.

Hi Mehtaz. Have you read my post carefully?

Steps of reproduction

  1. Using SPPB 5.2.7 add section with default paddings (75px)
  2. Check on other breakpoints - it is OK because inherited
  3. Update to SPPB 5.3.2
  4. Check on other breakpoints - it is NOT OK because NOT inherited

If you cannot understand this, please invite Paul Frankowski here so as not to waste time on meaningless messages. This is definitely a bug and this should be corrected as quickly as possible. Otherwise, we have to make many corrections on customer sites, which is a big headache.

I made tests, I can confirm issue, indeed not funny behavior.

I added to bug-list already with high priority.
