Some Menu Weirdness With SPPB

When I changed (corrected) the title of a page, the menu link was broken, producing a 404 with the additinal comment 'this page is unpublished'. It appears Joomla is not using the SPPB ID# as its reference to a page, which seems...un-Joomlish. When I reconnected the menu item, the title field then updated, but the 'page&id=' in the link field did not change.

Hi,

Ideas:

  1. in Menus: Items (Main Menu) > Mark all menu items [x] > click "Rebuild" button
  2. Delete (Trash) current menu item, then create a new one, with correct Page.
  3. Clear Joomla Cache.

I only had to reconnect, but I thought i odd that I needed to do that. (I will make note of that 'rebuild' method - I can see where that will be handy.)

To be honest, I couldn't reproduce that issue on my sites, I tested on two. Sometimes Joomla has its own moods ;p
