After upating SppB to 5.7.2, a strange dark strip appears above my menu at the top of al pages. It goes away on scroll when the menu auto-shirinks.

How do I get rid of this strip at https://www.certifiedinfosec.com/?

I found it in Template|Basic. The "Top Bar" was selected in layouts. I channged to "Classic Layout". I don't remember having changed this to make the top bar appear, but I must have done so I supposed. Now it is "Classic Layout", all is well. Thanks.

As I explained, it's a bar/strip that now appears above the menu. Does this help?

Just pull up our site and you'll be looking straight at it.

Please, use this css in your custom code css section, to add code you can check this documentation: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/custom-code-css-js-meta

div#sp-top-bar {
    margin-top: -16px;
}

Thanks

This section is from template, not SPPB. Probably you have preset Header with top-bar with no modules inside.

Solutions are two:

  1. Change Header type that don't have Top-bar, choose the simples one. Save changes.
  2. Or use below CSS:

#sp-top-bar {padding: 0;}

That's all.
