Thousands Separator In Animated Numbers Different Than Comma

Hi,

I need the thousands separator in the animated number to be a dot instead of the comma which it is by default.

In germany unlike in many English-Speaking nations the dot is used to separate the thounsands while the comma is used for fractions. So in Germany if you want to write ten thousand you write 10.000. Or you separate it with a small space.

So the question remains: can I tweak what is used as the separator for thousands? If so, how?

Additionally when I click on the questionmark icon next to "use number format" I get shown also the possibility to have a space between. How do I achieve that?

Thank you for your answer.

Hello Börje Devoti

Sorry, we do not provide customization support. You have to customize the addon to fulfil your need. Please create a file in this directory:

templates/your_template/sppagebuilder/addons/animated_number/site.php

Then edit the file according to your desired way.

Best regards

I understand that you do not provide customization support but I would need to know what I have to put into that file in order to change the thounds separator from comma to a dot.

I have already told you the file location. I cannot help you more here. But I will take your request to the development team. I will add a feature request to add dot (.) as a thousand separator option.
