Dot In Animated Number Addon

In the animated number addon SP Page Builder PRO, it is possible that the numbers have a dot (.) as thousands separator, for example, the number 1800 appears as 1.800.

I know that the number can be written with the dot manually, but when I do it, it only animates the number before the dot, in the example 0 appears and then 1, and the 800 appear without animation, suddenly.

If I enable the mode (Use Number Format) it works but shows a comma, how can I change it to a dot.

There should be an option for this, many countries do not use commas for their numeric values.

Hi

I have talked with my team, they said in our feature it will animated the whole number, You have to use that number like this format 1,800 then it will animated the whole number.

Ok, but my question from the beginning is how to change the comma (,) to a dot (.) going from 1,800 to 1.800 is very basic, and it is something that I know that your users have been asking for for years but for some reason you don't implement it, a function that allows you to change the thousands separator.

Hi

They said it should be this way, I mean we used a decimal separator comma (,) If we use dot (.) then it will be a fraction. So I think I have given you all the information and now I think you can close this post by accepting the answer.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have exactly the same question here. I have built a German website. In germany unlike in many English-Speaking nations the dot is used to separate the thounsands while the comma is used for ractions. So in Germany if you want to write ten thousand you write 10.000. Or you separate it with a small space.

So the question remains: can I tweak what is used as the separator for thousands? If so, how?

Additionally when I klick on the questionmark icon next to "use number format" I get shown also the possibility to have a space between. How do I achieve that?

Thank you for your answer. I will post it also as a new question in the forum.

Hello Mehtaz,

I already did that here: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/33972#qa-answer-162681

I even got a reply which actuallly left me clueless. I know that almost anything can be adjusted by entering the right code into the right file in the template. But I would expect the feature to work also for my country from scratch. At least I would expect to be able to use the samll space as thousands separator as shown in the tooltip (questionmark next to the number > use number format).

If you consider tweaking a PHP-file in the extension folder, at leat I would expect you to tell me which code I have to put into that file to achieve what I need.

I would be happy to get a working answer for my problem.

Thank you very much in advance!
