Do I have to turn some kind of plugin on in SPPB, in order to sucessfully use shortcodes from other extensions?
I have shortcodes for an extension (OS Downloads) that generates a labeled button generating a file download, in exchange for a customer's email. The shortcode works perfectly in any Joomla article, generating the button and functionality as desired. But when plugged into SPPB, it just displays the shortcode text, and not the button.
I have tried these shortcodes in SPPB with a Raw Text Add-on, and also as a Text-Box Add-on. With both types of add-ons, I tried copying , both from the "Editor" and "Code" displays from the Joomla article where the codes work, into the same "Editor" and "Code" displays in the Text Add-On in SPPB. Same result every time. Just the text displayed - no button. :-(
You can see the test page in SPPB where I've tried this. https://morninglightmusic.org/component/sppagebuilder/?view=page&id=17&Itemid=0
In contrast, the same exact shortcode works great on a Joomla page, as displayed here:
https://morninglightmusic.org/component/content/article/53-lyrics/lyrics-original-singles/259-osd-shortcode-test-on-joomla-page?Itemid=128.
It also works great within standard Joomla tables on standard Joomla pages, as displayed in the blue "Descargar" (Download) buttons here: https://morninglightmusic.org/recordings/canciones
But, in SPPB, nothing but text. How do I correct this?
I googled this and found some responses that suggested some extensions require a plugin to handle shortcodes properly. So I wondered if that's the case here as well. Hope you can help solve this issue. -- Carrie
