You have to check 2 things.

1. allow_url_fopen and cURL are enabled. Please talk to your hosting provider for this.
2. Use Latitude and Logitude on SP Weather module settings.

and Get Data By Latitude and Longitude is choosen

Unfortunately no weather data

I have generate a new API Key xyz... without success

Please contact with Openweather. Your API key is not correct. I have checked your key in my local site. But it does not work there too.

Okay, will you please take another API Key and check it. As I know, it is free to take another API Key.

I have created several new keys, but none of them work. I have deactivated the weather module because it does not display any data for me.

That's unfortunate. I do not have any clue. I have tested my API Key. It works fine on localhost and server. You may try the API with another account. I am not sure but it seems to be problem with your Openweather account.
