Hi Abraham,
Thanks for reaching out! The SP Weather module doesn't come with a dedicated Dutch (nl-NL) translation file bundled by default, which is likely why you're unable to locate it on the site.
The good news is that the module is fully translatable. You can create a Dutch translation yourself by following these steps:
- Locate the module's English language file:
en-GB.mod_sp_weather.ini (found in your /language/en-GB/ folder, or within the module's own /language folder depending on your version).
- Copy that file and rename it using the Dutch language code:
nl-NL.mod_sp_weather.ini, then place it in your /language/nl-NL/ directory.
- Open the copied file and translate the string values on the right side of each
KEY="value" pair into Dutch, leaving the keys unchanged.
- Save the file and clear your Joomla cache. The module should now display in Dutch when your site language is set to Dutch.
If you let us know which specific strings or labels you're trying to translate, we're happy to point you in the right direction. Alternatively, translations can often be handled directly through Joomla's built-in Language Overrides manager (System → Manage → Language Overrides) without editing files.
Let us know if you need any further help!
Best regards,
