How is it possible to have the login icon and menu like in preset header (login enabled) but in a custom header?

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out.

Which menu are you talking about, please? Can I have a screenshot of that?

Hi, It's fine after a little time and documentation, I managed to make my custom header.php and by doing that I was able to enable login in the basics of helix.

But now, my ancient top-bar is still showing, the one under the menu. There is one that you can't read (white on white) but that's the good one.

I tried to turn sccs off/on but that didn't change anything.

How do I get rid of that ancient top bar?

If you used custom Header from orginal file, just find code for sp-top-bar and remove it.

Find part, starting from <div id="sp-top-bar"> and remove all inside beetwen last </div>

Yes, you can also hide it by Custom CSS , but ... not the best way

#sp-top-bar {display: none; visibility: hidden;width: 0;}

Actually, it's a bug some place. What I found to remove it is using a predefined header containing a top bar. Once there I remove the top bar from the layout, so it disappears. Then I select my custom header and great, that second top bar is gone.

If I had done like you said I wouldhave stayed with an old top-bar that I could'nt customize anymore.

Thanks anyway for looking at it
