Cannot Get Google Fonts Loaded From The Server

Joomla: 5.1.4 PHP: 8.2 Template: Decora

Hi there,

I am using Google Fonts and want to have them loaded from the server instead from Google in US. This is a recommended approach here in Germany due to some GDP restrictions we have. I am sure you are aware.

I have all fonts defined in the decora/fonts folder and updated the custom.css accordingly. Custom.css is in decora/css folder, and SPPB Disable Google Fonts switch is on.

I even trid the workaround with the override.css mentioned in a another thread, without any success.

I am at the end of my ideas and appreciate any valuable hint from your side how to get this solved.

lesen Sie daraus Punkt 4

You have DSGVO law in Germany, the GDPR is general English name.

Hi Paul,

many thanks for your fast response and thank you for writing and sharing this document. The new Font Book is a great feature and really helpful. Now I am on the save side with the German law ;-).
