Hi,

We wwant to be displaying a picture of the Author on the author profile pages but we do nto want to be using Gravatar.

There is an option to upload a picture of the author in the user profile but it just shows the gravatar standard icon.

I have changed the coding as detailed in the link below which has got rid of the gravatar but the author profile pic we uploaded is not showing

Please go to this location:

templates/newsberg/html/layouts/joomla/content/blog/

and replace author_info.php file again with the new attached file. You need to unzip the file and then replace.

author_info.php.zip

I have added the description right under the title.

Brilliant, thanks that helped. Only thing now is I have a large square image instead of a small round image. Do you have any css to sort that? (See below)

You are welcome 😊

I saw that custom CSS fix. Just a suggestion: You can use border-radius: 50%. It will work fine with your 100% value too.

Please accept the answer that helped you. Finding the solution for the other users with the same issue will be easier. There is a button to accept answers after each comment.

I have a humble request too. It would be very kind of you if you can manage some moment to give us feedback on

  1. Joomla Extension Directory
  2. TrustPilot

This will inspire us to improve.

Thank you. I will do that Ofi.

I have just noticed that the description is missing (which should be under the author's name)

Any idea why this might be?
