Link Autor To Profile SP Author Profile

Why doesn't the author of the article, visible below the article, use the photo added in your SP Author add-on?

In the article options, the author is set to have an active link to the author's profile, which means it's not linked to the SP Author profile.

Sample article: https://www.naszgs.pl/aktualnosci/wazne-sprawy/stop-biletom-zerowym-w-siedlcach

author: https://www.naszgs.pl/dziennikarze-autorzy/ewa-k-o

Hello Sławomir,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Please replace the file located at JRoot/templates/newsberg/html/layouts/joomla/content/blog/author_info.php with the updated version provided in the hidden content area. This should resolve the issue and ensure the author photo from the SP Author add-on displays correctly.

If this doesn't solve the issue, please reach out and I'll look into it more deeply.

Best regards

I have the same problem and need access to that file. My template is Gazette. Could you please give me access to that file so I can also have the SP Author profile picture on my website instead of the Gravatar one? I don't understand why you don't include a solution to this problem in an update, or at least make that file visible to all clients so we don't have this question constantly appearing in the forum.

I've already fixed it, but thank you anyway. I'm sure this file will be very useful to others. You've been very kind.

Yes, changing the file helped, the author's photo is visible and links to his profile. https://www.naszgs.pl/dziennikarze-autorzy/izamajewska

Above is an example of completing the author's profile information, but it looks bad because the entire description is in the left column, and the space on the right isn't used at all. How and in which file should I change this?

Please add the following CSS code to your Template Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS

@media (min-width: 1200px) {
    .spauthorarchive-articles .spauthorarchive-author-wrap {
        max-width: 80%;
        padding: 20px;
    }
}

Yes, that's what I meant, thank you. I've searched all the language files and can't find a language tag to overwrite the word: Citizenship:

Please provide the name of the language tag.
