Accordion Addon does Not Store Margins

Hello, after various trials and various fumblings, it seems to me that it is certain that the Accordion addon does not store the margin values that one sets but only the padding. I went through a dozen or so trials, in addition to all the fumbling I've gone through before because I didn't understand where I was going wrong, before I realized the error. I hope this is the case, that it is indeed a bug, so I won't waste your time with another blunder of mine....

Hi, great Toufiq! Look, I kept trying and I may have figured out the problem. It definitely happens if you alternate the editor between the frontend one and the backend one. Especially the frontend, it doesn't save everything all the time, but it has been like that since it was introduced, in fact I have long since gone back to using only the backend. That it doesn't save settings also happens with everything else, not just Accordion. What I've been able to figure out is that if you don't always save, with every single input, some things are lost. Certainly, if you keep the padding and margin fields unlocked, thus putting them with different values, it doesn't always save, indeed. Now that I have them unlocked and put them all the same, it does save. That's why you can't take screenshots, I can precisely just tell you which way the problem happens with a good chance that it happens to you too.

It works that way but not always. If you just do it that way, maybe it stays, however, again, that is not the sequence. Unfortunately, I did not save the screenshot where it showed, as you did with page ispection, that it had not saved the margins but only the padding. Now I've fixed it and I'm moving on, however, it took me two days before I was able to figure out the problem and overcome it. If you have time do some testing, mostly going from the backend editor to the frontend and back again, saving the values once with the frontend and then checking again on the backend, then changing the values on the backend and checking again if you find them the same on the frontend-I'm pretty sure you'll see the problem. Also, always check the values that it then generates starting from the laptop and ending at mobile portrait: even there I think I've seen that sometimes it saves them one way and sometimes it doesn't save them at all. I'm sorry I can't be more precise, Toufiq, but for this thing (and similar ones) I've already lost a lot of time and need to finish the job. I hope you will be able to replicate the problem, because it breaks a lot of boxes....

Can you share a screencast video about the full scenario? Thanks

Ciao Marco,

mostly going from the backend editor to the frontend and back again

Try to avoid that in one editor session, becuase if you save changes on front-end editor having back-end editor opened on that same time in 2nd browser tab, changes are NOT visisible there, and you have mess.

In general if you are editing a single page use ONE editor view. Later after using Close & Save, you can open 2nd editor. In my projects I mostly use back-end editor and no similar problems.
