Link Display Problem In Add-on Image Content

Hello

In the content of an add-on image content, the link does not have the same appearance as in the rest of the site.

On Joomla, the links placed in the modules must be identical to those of the articles, that is to say that the font of the link must be fuschia and the link must be bold when hovered over. To date, the module links are in the form of a button, the text of the link does not even appear whether hovered over it or not and the text near the link is eaten by the button style formatting of the link, which makes it impossible to place links in the modules

Here is an example on the front: the button itself does not pose a problem. It's the link (first in the text) that poses a problem by trying to display itself (and badly) as a button and not as a classic link. https://pic.infini.fr/AsyBUAns/bIRQenv9.png

See the image also for the back end: https://pic.infini.fr/aqpeTyMi/n5E7Muk4.png

As the person in charge is leaving here Wednesday and that sometimes it is difficult to communicate, I can give you admin access to have access to the addon

Hello,

I created a test menu in Cassiopeia: https://www.altius.fr/fr/test-image-content.html. It works perfectly. The main issue seems to originate from your template. Please review this menu: https://www.altius.fr/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&client_id=0&layout=edit&id=648.

I’ve kept it hidden for now, so you can check and delete it as needed.

Thank you!

Hi Thanks for your quick reply maybe it comes from the template? What is certain is that it is a site that has received several template changes

I do not understand the problem with the last url mentioned which sends me back to the administration home page.

Can you give me the css code? and the place where you applied this correction on these links?

Thanks in advance

I did not apply any custom CSS. Instead, I switched to the Cassiopeia template to test the issue. I created a new menu item and added a test page with an image content layout. From this test, I observed that the CSS styling does not resemble the design shown in your previous template.

To verify, you can follow these steps:

  1. Activate the Cassiopeia template as your current template.
  2. Create a test page.
  3. Add a new menu item to your main menu linking to this test page.
  4. Then add image content addon and link it and save then check the preview.

You will notice that no additional CSS is applied to text links.

Thanks,

Hello Ah I understand but that won't help me because I have a limited time before the person from the com' leaves (as mentioned). If there is a problem with the template, I can't solve it at the moment.

I think there is a conflict between their css and SPPB's css anyway! By the way strange, on my test page, I don't understand but it seems to work? https://www.altius.fr/fr/test.html

Can you put me a css so that it also works on the backoffice side? Thanks in advance

I have resolved the issue by applying some inline CSS directly to the <a> (anchor) tag. Additionally, I removed the unnecessary <span> tags nested inside the anchor tags.

I upgraded your SP Page Builder Pro to the latest.

Is there anything else I can assist you with?

Otherwise, by going to https://www.altius.fr/administrator/index.php?option=com_modules&view=module&layout=edit&id=396&client_id= a) If I click on [edit widh Frontend editor], I get the error message "Oops... You went too high! This page no longer exists" b) If I click on [edit widh backend editor], I get an error page "Unhandled Runtime Error TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'call') Please open the browser console for more information! Call Stack l (2:1377879) 4805 (2:6578) Function.l (2:1377879)"

To view the CSS and link, navigate to your pages and click on the three-dot menu (...) in the image content section. Then, click on the</>code icon. Here, you will see the inline CSS code and the link, which you can modify directly from this section.

I have also attached screenshots for your reference. To resolve the error, please ensure you clear your browser cache as well as Joomla’s cache.

Thank you!

Hi

thanks for your support

1/ modification ok I understand that you did not add css code but cleaned the link in the source code. Is that it? and the person must check that they have the same thing?

I deleted the cookies and emptied the cache. There is no more bug with Firefox, I reproduced the same error with the brave browser.

Can you check on your side with the latest version of brave?

2/ Can you give me the url of your image https://prnt.sc/eTL3AUmd-kaZ because strange I do not see the same thing with https://www.altius.fr/fr/test.html !! see https://pic.infini.fr/gallery#IzaYWfX8/sXe2Fc41.png

3/ update SPPB The current version is a little old. I won't have any problems updating to the latest version?

Hello HDcms

In the absence of Ziaul, I have checked the test page on both Chrome and Brave browser. It shows fine and exactly the same.

You can update to the latest SP Page Builder. Hopefully, you will not face any issue.

Best regards

Hello

Thank you for taking over The problem mentioned access to the modification of the module where I am with the impossibility of access (see old screenshots) Administrator See the URLs in hidden copy

If you hope that I do not encounter a problem by doing the SPPB update, I will wait a little because I would have needed to be sure not to have time to spend on this action.

Regards

Hello,

I apologize for the delay in responding.

For A, please check if the issue still persists. If it does, ensure that the corresponding module or page is published or available.

For B, I noticed that the module is currently unpublished. If the issue continues, please try the following steps: • Disable the Route 66 component temporarily. • Disable Admin Tools component temporarily. • Test by temporarily disabling .htaccess and URL suffix settings.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Best regards,

Hello I'm getting back to you because I have a new slot this week to fix the problem after updating the extensions on a test site Fortunately because the layout is broken on many pages with SPPB https://test.altius.fr/fr/accompagner.html https://test.altius.fr/fr/contact-fr.html https://test.altius.fr/fr/installer.html https://test.altius.fr/fr/former/nos-certifications-et-qualifications/information-generales-formations.html

To compare with the site without the updates: https://www.altius.fr/fr/accompagner.html ...

Can you look to help me solve this as soon as possible? I give access directly if necessary

I have an SSL certificate problem that the host has still not answered me for several days but that does not prevent us from moving forward Regards

If you disable it, the Frontend Editor will work perfectly. However, you can contact their support for configuration or setup assistance. It seems there might be a misconfiguration.

Thank you!
