Open_basedir Restriction In Effect

Template 11 months ago

Hello, after a clean installation of the Finance template, I am seeing messages in the frontend: Warning: is_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/variables.less) is not within the allowed path(s)

The error occurs repeatedly after changing the template color preset.

I spoke to my hosting provider and was told that they will not disable the open_basedir directive on the hosting side. Can you please advise me on what to do about this?

Thank you.

Can you please write what the solution is? Maybe for other users or for a possible reinstallation of the template.

Thank you.

Edit: after template color preset change the problem still persist.

Hello,

The issue was related to the template. I have installed it on your system and cleared the Joomla cache. Always ensure to check by clearing the cache and performing a hard reload.

I hope you won’t encounter the problem again. Please let me know if you do.

Thanks,

Hi, everytime I try reload page after template color preset change the problem still persist. Try changing the color scheme in the template settings and then reload the page. The error appears on the first reload, but disappears on the second.

Thank you

Hello,

The issue seems to be related to Zend OPcache on your hosting server. I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider, as they should be able to assist you with this. I tested your site locally, and everything is working fine on my end.

Thank you!

And do you have any recommendations on what I should discuss with my internet provider, what I should ask them for? Turn off Zend OPcache?

Hello,

Apologies for the confusion. The issue is with your hosting provider, not your internet provider. I recommend contacting them and asking them to disable the OPcache restriction temporarily in the php.ini file. Alternatively, you can explain to them the issues I mentioned in my previous response.

Thank you!
