Hi,

Is there any chance to make a video about the usage of Div Addons, I have read the documentation but showing it in a video is more suitable for me (maybe also for others). It's an important tool in the builder but I'm often still struggling with it how to use it best. The docs gives some information but it's not completly clear to me when and how to use it in the best ways.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Robert.

I do not think that creating a video would have any meaning.

DIV addon is used to group several addons and create mini layouts. Unlike the sections or columns, it has a simple code structure without additional internal elements and styles. What makes it more convenient for mini layouts than sections and columns.

The simplest example of use is by placing two buttons in DIV addon you can place them horizontally and align them.

However, the DIV addon settings are very poor, not flexible and have some bugs. To reveal all its potential, it is better to use CSS using your own classes. To do this, you must have good HTML/CSS skills. And having these skills, you will easily understand how and in what cases it is used without any video.

But if you do not have these skills, it is not possible to create a video that would be useful for you. Since to understand even those settings that exist, you need to know Flexbox CSS at least

I have spent some time playing with the Div addon this week, but if you use multiple columns in a row, a Div is really recommended if you do not master those CSS skills well. Especially with responsive behavior. You can force the columns to go into a vertical position sooner than when the page builder does. This way it looks better on a tablet in portrait mode. For example; sometimes a 3 column layout remain in a horizontal position too long, making it look forced on a tablet.

I know HTML and a little bit of CSS, but every time I seriously want to sit down to learn something comes up. I have several courses on Udemy but unfortunately time is not on my side.

I understand your input, but many people who fully master CSS are probably less likely to use a complete page builder.

English is not my native language, which is why a video makes more clear than just reading. The question therefore remains.
