I have a site with 2 simple Pagebuilder pages which are very slow. More complex pages are loading quick, but not this both.

Do you have an idea / suggestion?

Sincerely Peter

Hi Peter,

I am guessing, but .... try:

  1. In Editor view - Save all used Addons on those pages (one by one)
  2. Create a new Page "Ueber-mich 2025" und später "referenzen 2025"
  3. Add new Row, set Column grid as it was on the orginal page.
  4. Paste addons from Saved list (screenshot below)
  5. Click "Save & close" in Page
  6. Go to Main Menu - and replace pages in menu items
  7. If will be faster, delete old pages.

Indeed, some users noticed delay when page was created with older SPPB version.

I am C64 fan too :)

Thank you Paul, I think I have found the reason. I deactivated an extension and the pages became faster. The way you described did not help, but I was thinking about this way before too.

Thank you for the tip with image size, too. This was the wrong image used.

BTW

Upload smaller image of you in front of screens, now your image is 1920px of wide and your page is using 640px. It means that you can resize & compress (.webp).

Oh, OK.

In general, you can upload .webp files inside SPPB, you don't need extra plugin for that.
