Hello, is it possible to open sub-items in the MegaMenu by clicking? Now it only works with a mouse over... Unfortunately, this means that the website cannot be controlled with the keyboard.

Thanks Holger

Hi nynol,

Thanks for your query.

Unfortunately, there is no default feature like that and code customization is beyond support policy, so you have to customize it yourself.

Best Regards

Hello, do you have a tip for me where I can start? Here in Europe we have the problem that websites have to be designed to be completely barrier-free. And for that to happen, the website also has to be operable with the keyboard.

Thanks Holger

Hi Mehtaz Afsana Borsha,

sorry, but I disagree with your approach to the topic. Using the menu in your Framework with the arrow keys or moving around with the TAB key, or rather the lack of such a possibility, is a serious problem and should be solved by your programmers.

BTW, about half a year ago I exchanged correspondence with Paweł Frankowski and he informed me that it had been reported to the wish list and was to be considered for the next updates of the framework.

I hope that someone will finally look into the subject and this solution will be implemented in the near future.

Best regards

Hi Holger.

Hover behavior is controlled by CSS. This is what Helix provides out of the box.

Click behavior is controlled by JS. This is not included in Helix.

You can create and use a custom.js file to write your JS code for this behavior. But if you don’t have JS skills, just hire someone for this task.

Hello Pavel, Thanks for your answer. Can you do this task for me? I am willing to pay something for it.

Thanks Holger
