Social Media Icons And Menu Arrows Missing

Greetings!
I am helping a non-profit with a website and I have an issue that I do not know how to fix: Social media icons are not displayed when I create a module. Instead I get some weird squares with sings. The same weird signs I see on the dropdown mega menu, in place of what I believe should be arrows.. Can someone please direct/help me fix this? Thank you very much!
