when i go to template sitting and enalble"Enable Social Share" the site gave error

sorry, there was a problem we could not recover form

template name : shaper_aresmurphy

what shuold i do

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for your issue. You can follow these steps below:

  • Uninstall the template and install it again.

  • Change PHP version to 8.0.x ! PHP 8.1 is not fully supported.

NOTE: Make sure you have a full site backup before making any changes.

Option No2 that may help:

From Helix Ultimate template take this file: templates\shaper_helixultimate\html\layouts\joomla\content\social_share.php

And using it override that one: templates\shaper_aresmurphy\html\layouts\joomla\content\social_share.php


If that will not help, let me know, I will prepare 3rd tip.

Make sure that you updated Helix plugin.

yes it works thnaks, but how can i control which social media icon and which i do not need to appear in the artacle

In most cases from Template Options > Blog > Blog Details > Social Share

You can disable icons that you do not need.

Maybe in your template that option does not exist. In that case you can hide them using Custom CSS.
