Hello,

I have a Joomla 4 website and have front end editing issues with the Doctor template.

I have installed a brand new Joomla 5.2.4, SPPB 5.52 and Doctor template 3.0.1

I have imported several pages from my J4 'live' Website and they imported well. However, when I select Front End Editor in the back end, I get a

Sorry, there was a problem we could not recover from. The server returned a "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

Can you please urgently look? Details below. I have many Pagebuilder Joomla sites on this server but have not seen this before.

The site is NOT live so please do what you need to.

Hi Kieron,

Checking...

BTW

If you will import pages, try to always click that (in back-end editor) and then Save.

As you can read here: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/technical-requirements

You need:

  • PHP: memory_limit: 256 MB or 512M
  • PHP: post_max_size : 64M

Your error message is

Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5622616 bytes)

As webmaster I hope you know what its means.

Without that you can use back-end editor only. Becuase it request less PHP memory than fron-end editor.
