Creating A Popup And Hiding

Using J4 and SPPB Pro Version: 5.5.3

I would like to create a simple popup advert, and have a question:

When a visitor closes the popup is should stay closed until they clear their cookies, or for x number of days. How can I do this?

As it stands, this is just a very annoying popup that appears each time someone visits the same page!
