Travelia Template: Unable To Change Preset Colours Even After Selecting A Different Colour

To whom this may concern,

Could I please have some assistance changing the default colour of the template? I have changed the colour in the template settings. In the template settings it displays the colour I wish to show on the website. However, when I go to the front of the website, the default colour displays.

My website browser clears the cache each time when I close the window.

I have made the changes in the section described in these instructions (https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/presets), yet, the preset colour still displays, not the colour I have selected.

Could I please have some assistance with this?

Kind Regards,

Hello Ziaul,

Thank you so much for this. I couldn't find the SCSS option in your instructions. In the template options, I went to the advanced tabe which only had options for compression settings, LESS and Import/export template. So, I assumed your instructions were referring to changing the LESS.

"Less Compile LESS to CSS Yes No Helix 3 is developed with LESS. When customize your site, we suggest you to work with LESS files. All your changes in the LESS files will be compiled into the final CSS files. It will override previus changes."

Going by the instructions above substituting SCSS for LESS, when I enabled LESS, it started working. Previously the template was selt to "no" to "compile LESS to CSS".

  1. Go to Template Options > Advanced (tab) > LESS
  2. Set Compile LESS to CSS to Disabled and click Save
  3. Then, set it back to Enabled and click Save again
  4. Clear both your Joomla cache and your browser cache

Kind Regards, Faith

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

After changing the color, you need to recompile your SCSS to CSS. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Template Options > Advanced (tab) > SCSS
  2. Set Compile SCSS to CSS to Disabled and click Save
  3. Then, set it back to Enabled and click Save again
  4. Clear both your Joomla cache and your browser cache

This should apply your changes correctly.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks!
