TABLE COLUMN WIDTH ISSUES

I have an issue when trying to fix the column width of my table:

I have 5 columns:

1 - column span number = 1 2 - column span number = 1 3 - column span number = 6 4 - column span number = 3 5 - column span number = 1

Total - column span number = 12

These column span number are set on both Headers and Standard Rows.

But still the column width is flexing depending on the lengt of the content in the text field.

What am I doing wrong here?

These column span number are set on both Headers and Standard Rows.

For the design purpose it should same size. That's why we did it. I have checked it and no issue found.

Thanks for your effort.

Just to understand it better:

  1. The settings in my table are correct?
  2. The columns are designed to flex, and not to have fixed width?

Yes

The columns are designed to flex, and not to have fixed width?

It depends on your column size. (colspan)

I don't know if we are on the same page here - so I'll try to explain it more clearly:

Column size-wise, the percentage of the progress bar can be changed.

What I don't understand is, that when I set the column width to be X - why does the width then vary, depending on the content in the text field.

I would expect the column widths to be stable, as they are set, in the settings.

Otherwise whats the point in setting anything?

btw.: You do get, that the examples I've sent you, is showing the SAME table, right? - in two different scanarios - where some changes has been made to a text field form one scenario to the next (which causes the change in column size)
