I downloaded some fonts to fontbook, but the are not showing in the typography selections of various addons. Did I do anything wrong or missing?

Hi Toufiq, thanks for your answer, but this does not give me a solution for my problem. I have installed the fonts to fontbook properly, but cannot use them in any addon.

Could you kindly grant me access to your Joomla administrator access to check the issue?

Your google font API isn't correct. I have used my API key. Please check now.

You turned on Google Fonts! This is unsafe, because in Europe lawiers are writing emails and demand compensation for infringement of peronal rights when using Google fonts.

This is why I downloaded the two fonts of Google, which I want to use and then turned Google fonts off. This procedure is described in one of the manual pages of PB.

However, even with google fonts, as you turned it on, I cannot use the fonts in the addons, because they are not listed in the selection.

How did you mange to integrate the fonts Sofia and Playfair into my website?

Watch this video. You may need to increase file upload size.

I managed to install the fonts, as you can see, but the point is, that I cannot use them in the addons used. They do not appear in the font selection

I investigated further: When Google fonts is not disabled the fonts appear in the selection list and are displayed on the website. After disabling Google fonts they disappear in the selection and also are not displayed. see here: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/google-fonts-and-dsgvo-gdpr

I now deleted the Google API key. The fonts which I imported to fontsbook are still displaying on the website and they are in the selection list. The website, that tested my Google fonts usage still claims that I am using Google fonts, but is it safe now without the API key or is Google stillsending personal data? This is what they found: Stylesheet - https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=fjalla%20one:100,100italic,200,200italic,300,300italic,400,400italic,500,500italic,600,600italic,700,700italic,800,800italic,900,900italic&display=swap

What do your developpers say?

Despite stating this: In SPPB Settings > Advanced > Disable Google Fonts: Off (grey) - otherwise, you cannot use fonts that you chose from the list of Google Fonts by "Font Book" feature. Don't worry only local fonts will be used.

The scanners listed below are still finding code that they determine to be non conform to DSGVO, like this in sppagebuilder.css : @import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=IBM+Plex+Sans:wght@700&display=swap);@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Roboto:wght@400;500;700&display=swap);

Please watch the video.

You need to increase the memory limit. Or contact your server provider.

Now I am getting the point: When I add a Google font to Fontbook it is only added to my kist of installed fonts and will be loaded every time by Google when the page is loaded.

To be DSGVO GDPR conform, I must upload the font as described.

I tired maby times, but I always get the memory error. I talked to my service provider IONOS and they set the memery limit to 512M, but I still cannot upload the font. See test4.jelwana.net/info.php I reduced all data uploaded to the server to be well below 512M.

Can you please have your programmers have a look, why my upload is still failing?

I followed all the instruction and advices I could find, but the upload still does not work.

My firefox browser is showing the following error message, when openeing the web developper tool:

HRPOST https://test4.jelwana.net/administrator/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&task=/editor.uploadFont [HTTP/2 400 303ms]

Is this giving any hint, what might be wrong ?

This issue seems not to be solved, as you can see in the discussion a year ago:
