Changing Data For Google

Hello, I have a small news website.

When I search for my website on Google with the word "portalnews" without quotes, it appears exactly as shown in the screenshot.

I'd like to know where in the Joomla backend I can change the first word "portalnews.co" highlighted in the image.

I've tried several places but can't find that change. Could you please tell me where to make that change? Thank you.

It's incredible. I've asked around on websites, forums, and even Telegram, and no one in Joomla knows how to change that simple text.

Thanks anyway.

Hola Fernando.

  1. In Global Configuration > Site Name
  2. Then you have to wait week maybe two weeks until Google will reindex your site.

It depends on Google how fast it will be.

Ask also on SEO forum how you can speed up that process.

Hi Pablo, and thank you for your kind help.

In "Global Settings - Site - Site Name," the setting has been set for years to: PortalNews "News & Current Events 7/24" and it works correctly and displays well on Google.

It's the first word I can't find where to change the text portalnews.co to something else.

Someone gave me this page, but it didn't work:

Install also extension: Google Structured Data (tassos.gr) it allows you to set some needed fields for Google.

And don't forget that none of us are Google employees.

If you are asking for the free answer, fewer people want to share their knowledge. Simple rule.
