[Bug] Endless loading animation in EasyStore cart – nothing loads

Hi,

I’m using SP Page Builder with EasyStore for my site. Everything was looking good until I noticed a serious UX issue in the cart page (and also during checkout). The Problem:

After adding a product to the cart, the cart view displays several grey loading lines (skeleton loaders or placeholders).

  • These "loading bars" never disappear.
  • No actual content is loading in that space — it's just taking up visual space and creating confusion for the customer.

You can see an example here (screenshot attached).

Expected behavior:

Those placeholders should automatically disappear:

once the cart content is loaded,

or after a short delay (e.g. via JS trigger or state check).

Right now, they remain indefinitely, even though everything has clearly already loaded (products, prices, totals, etc). What I’ve tried:

Clearing Joomla and browser cache

Reloading EasyStore modules

Testing on different browsers and devices

Checking for JS errors (none found)

Additional Notes:

This is a bad user experience — it makes the cart look broken or incomplete. It gives the impression that something’s still loading or missing, which is not the case.

If this is a bug, please fix it. If it's a setting I can control or override, please tell me where — because nothing in the admin allows me to change that.

Hi Toufiqur,

Thank you for your quick reply. I just tested it again, and unfortunately, the issue is still present on my end.

As soon as I click on "Checkout" from the cart preview, I’m redirected to the page where several grey lines appear in place of the total summary (as shown in the screenshot attached). This happens before entering any payment or shipping info.

Could it be a cache issue, a conflict with the template, or something with SP Page Builder? Please advise what I should check or clear to fix this.

PS: I also noticed that the old "Homify" brand name still appears in the cart header. Could you please let me know where to change or remove this text? Thanks! 🕯️

Thank you for the fix, I just tested it and it works now!

Could you please explain briefly what changes you made to make it work? (Was it a patch, a hidden setting, or a custom adjustment?)
